This year, DAF has their largest stand ever at the head of the Europahal. It offers space for at least twelve vehicles, including several with bodywork. DAF will show its complete product range, from the LF for distribution transport, to the CF for a broad range of applications and the XF for international road transport. Naturally, the new DAF XF105 will have a very prominent place on the stand.

DAF in the Netherlands
With 7,800 registrations up to and including June, the Dutch commercial vehicle market (from 6 tonnes) was almost as large this year as in the same period of 2004. Here, with a market share of almost 32 percent (first six months of 2005), DAF remains the undisputed market leader. In the class from 6 to 15 tonnes, DAF has a 22% share; in the heavy segment (15 tonnes plus), the market share in the Netherlands is about 33%.

“We expect quite a lot from the coming European Road Transport Show 2005 at the RAI”, says Ron Bonsen, General Director of DAF Nederland. “October is always the month when many operators decide about the purchase of their vehicles. Besides a close network of professional dealers, DAF has one of the most modern product ranges on the market, with trucks that have each been developed for maximum availability, low costs per kilometre and high driver comfort. Our new top model, the XF105, is a good example of this; it means that we have the best in house for both the driver and the haulier. It is the new standard. Furthermore, the XF95 will remain in production for hauliers who want to keep to Euro 3 for the time being  and let us not forget that they are still making an excellent choice. Numerous recent independent tests have again clearly underscored the unique quality of the XF95: in many areas it remains the benchmark for the industry.”

As traditionally is the case, DAF's stand will be in the Europahal (stand number 01.002) at the European Road Transport Show 2005 at the RAI, where the following vehicles will be displayed on a surface area of about 2,200 m2 :
